Melissa Nora Smith

Steve and Heather's fifth child was born 1/8/11.  She weighed 9 pounds and 4 ounces and was 21 inches long.

Hesentine Turner Harris

She is Ken's great grandmother.  She was born in 1860, married in 1875, and died in 1963.  She had ten children, seven of whom lived to adulthood.

Meeting with a Second Cousin

I met today with Judy (Blanton) Luthy.  She and her husband were on vacation in Utah.  She is a second cousin on my Dad's side.  We're not sure if we had met before, but if we had, it was when I was 5 and she was 3 in Carrollton, Texas, in 1947.  We're both descendants of Andrew Milton Smith and Sarah Eliza Briggs.
